Written by Lukas Dikker in just one weekend and recorded in another with the rest of the band. It’s Inspired by the Elvis Presley song played on a tiny musicbox , which perfectly illustrates the intimate, melancholic mood of this ep. Slow, almost rhytmbox like drums, simple melodic basslines and delicate guitars. It’s a “close miced” recording that feels like the band is playing right in your own living room with vocalists Lukas and Gerrit soflty singing you to sleep. The four songs could be caterogized as bedroom/dreampop and should appeal to fans of Beach House, Deerhunter et al. But in the end it’s the highly personal vision of Lukas that makes this little disc so desirable.
